Connecting to upload your files

Before you connect you must ensure you comply with two things.

  1. You're domain is resolvable to our servers.
  2. You own a registered copy of Frontpage, we do not supply this and it is your responsibility to attain a legal copy

Step 1 Make sure you are connected to the Internet, and open Frontpage

Step 2 Click on "File" and then "Open Web" to connect to your domain on the web server. Type in http://www.yourdomain.com. Once you have done this click "Open" in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Step 3 You will now be prompted for your username and password via a dialog box. When prompted enter the username and password specified on your welcome email. If this message does not appear it can be for 2 reasons. Either your domain is not resolving or Frontpage Extensions have been corrupted on your domain. If your domain is resolving and it is not working you will need to contact support to get them to install Frontpage Extensions on your domain.

Troubleshooting

If you can not connect to Frontpage and your domain is resolving and receive an error message similar to below you will need to contact support, there is also an option in the control panel which does a reinstall of Frontpage, however, this does not always work particularly if the issues are permissions related.
